Mulligatawny Soup


Ingredients

  • 1 litre beef stock
  • 1 onion
  • 1 apple
  • 40g butter
  • 1 ds curry powder
  • 1 ds chutney
  • 40g flour
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 50g rice (bit less than 1/3 c)

Instructions

Chopp onion + apple, fry in butter til brown, add curry, chutney + flour, mix well. Add stock gradually, stirring well. Add rest of ingred, stir til boiling. Simmer 20 mins.
